Nerice is a consultant with Humint. She is an experienced human resources professional with more than 10 years of talent management and HR generalist experience. Her experience spans across industries like aviation, FMCG, consulting and engineering. She has worked with multi-national teams to implement high impact HR initiatives at the head office, regional and local levels to add significant business value.
Nerice began her career in Singapore Airlines under the Administrative Officer Scheme, where she took on various HR roles and was responsible for areas such as Recruitment, Performance Management, Scholarships, Policy & Research as well as Manpower Planning. During her tenure with SIA, she has led a 6 Sigma project team that reviewed and significantly reduced the recruitment cycle time, and collaborated with identified talent suppliers to promote SIA’s employer value proposition amongst the target talent pool. As a result of this, SIA was accredited JobsFactory’s Employer of Choice in 2008 & 2009. She has also reviewed the Executive Appraisal System and Polytechnic diploma holders’ compensation & development. She participated in the SIA Job Evaluation Project and successfully identified benchmark positions and evaluated all executives and managerial positions.
Her next career move was to Deloitte, Enterprise Risk Services (ERS). As Assistant Manager, Talent Management (SEA), her role covered the full spectrum of human resources including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Retention, Onboarding, Exit Management and Alumni Management. She spearheaded the review of the resource planning system for Southeast Asia where a new manpower requisition and booking system was introduced, resulting in optimised resource planning and improved analytics.
In 2010, Nerice joined British American Tobacco as Talent Manager (Singapore & AsPac Supply Chain Service Centre) where she was responsible for supporting the regional talent agenda through the effective implementation and management of recruitment, talent insights management, and training strategies, leading onto building an aligned Singapore and Regional Operations Talent Strategy. She later moved on to a regional role with BAT Centre of Excellence as Regional L&D Manager, Asia Pacific where she was responsible for supporting the leadership development agenda in Asia Pacific with an aim to provide accessible, flexible and relevant development opportunities and supporting the building of high performing leadership culture in Asia Pacific to drive future growth through capable talent.
During her tenure with BAT, Nerice implemented a new global learning curricula in Asia Pacific and improved the leadership capabilities and business skills of the management population, introduced development initiatives and training roadmaps to bridge the management staff capability gaps, facilitated good quality of succession planning meetings, developed talent dashboard and learning strategies for the Asia Pacific Operations function and planned and co-facilitated functional strategy and team building sessions.
As a trained facilitator, she has conducted programmes on Leadership Development modules, Competency-based interviews, Performance Management and teambuilding retreats. She is also trained in SHL Occupational Testing (Ability and Personality).
