Chew Min Seng

Chew Min Seng has over 35 years of sales, marketing and general management experience in the FMCG industry with the recent 22 years specifically in executive search and business consulting functions.

He started his marketing career with Johnson & Johnson International in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.  Coming back to Asia in 1989, Min Seng held positions of Brand Manager and Export Sales Manager with Asia Pacific Breweries and subsequently held senior positions such as Regional Marketing Manager of McCormick SE Asia, Sales & Marketing Director of McCormick China, Director (Asia) of Teledyne Water Pik and Managing Director (Asia) of Viskase Corporation.

 

In 2000, Min Seng joined the Executive Search industry and has gathered in-depth experience in the consumer and industrial practices of search business for the last 19 years. When he was with Korn/Ferry Futurestep Singapore, Min Seng managed and completed numerous search assignments for senior management positions across all functional areas in both Singapore and the Asian region.  He held the position of Head of Business, Korn/Ferry Futurestep Singapore before he left to join McShayne Global Search as Managing Partner until August 2021 when he relinquished his partnership position.

 

While working on executive search projects in McShayne Global Search, Min Seng was also appointed Managing Consultant by Anhueser-Busch International for Vietnam in 2011-2012 to manage recruitment and also drive business development.  Due to his extensive network in the beverage industry, Warsteiner International K.G. also appointed Min Seng as Consultant for Asia Pacific from 2012 to 2016 to develop their business in Asia.

 

From beginning of 2018 to April 2019, Min Seng was appointed by Isentia, an Australian media intelligence company, as General Director to manage and stabilise its Vietnam subsidiairy.   He was able to recruit his successor by May 2019 to continue the profitable operations of its Vietnam subsidiary.

 

In May 2019, Supply Chain Resources Group, a US Company, appointed Min Seng as their General Manager to structure its organisation and recruit key management positions to start up their business operations in Hanoi, Vietnam.   He successfully completed the recruitment of the local General Manager in February 2020 and handed the business operations to him.

 

Min Seng holds an MBA degree from Rollins College, Florida (1987) and a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point (1984).
